Larsen Ridge Backcountry Cabin

18/08/18

Step3Project has funded, designed and installed renewable power for the Larsen Ridge Backcountry Ski Cabin. The cabin is located southwest of Terrace BC in the alpine terrain of the Coast Mountains. Previously lit by candles and propane, the Cabin's new solar arrays provide enough charging capacity to fully illuminate the main building and outhouse in addition to a charging port for USB devices. Funded by 78 purchases, this project was completed with the volunteer efforts of Hartman Electric, Complete Electric, Canadian Helicopters and Prevost RV.
